SMEs defy gloomy outlook to go for growth in 2008 Despite widespread rumours of a global market slowdown, new research from Close Invoice Finance suggests that British SMEs are feeling bullish about their growth prospects. Nationally, more than half (56%) of the SMEs questioned expected their businesses to expand this year while just 6% believed that their business would contract or close down over the next 12 months. read more...
