Close Invoice Finance Relocates Northern
Commercial Centre to City Centre Hub
October 2009
Close Invoice Finance, part of the FTSE 250 merchant banking
group Close Brothers plc, is relocating its Northern commercial centre to the
heart of the Manchester business community.
The factoring and invoice finance specialist has made the strategic move to
better meet the need of its growing clientbase and be closer to the hub of the
professional services community in the North West . All of Close Invoice
Finance’s staff currently based at Stockport will relocate to the new premises.
Ian Steward, Managing Director of the North at Close Invoice Finance said:
“We are delighted to be moving to our new city centre location,
demonstrating our commitment to supporting businesses in the region. The
premises place us in the heart of the business community which will benefit
our clients and staff alike”
He added: :
“Businesses in the North, especially in the manufacturing
industry, have been hit hard during the recession with late payment and bad
debt being a key issue. Despite this the 2009 Small Business Finance
Barometer by Close shows businesses in the Lancashire region are more
optimistic than the average with over 50,000 businesses planning to recruit
new employees.”
“At Close, we are finding that our clients from the North are equally
bullish about their business prospects and I have high hopes that 2010 will
provide real opportunities for Northern businesses to go for growth.”
Close Invoice Finance will move to its new city centre location
at 80 Moseley Street, overlooking St Peter’s Square on 30th November 2009.
